Team Lead at Slush 2025
Anton Heinonen was a part of the Event Badge Claim team at Slush during the fall of Slush 2025. They were responsible for:
Recruited, trained, and led a balanced, diverse, and self-sufficient team of 80 volunteers in total, including 7 volunteer leads and a right hand, each managing their own sub-team.
Planned and oversaw badge claim operations that handled nearly 6,000 attendees over 2 days with record-low waiting times and consistently high customer service standards.
Conducted workload and capacity analysis based on previous years’ data to create more accurate staffing plans and avoid bottlenecks at peak times.
Designed fair, efficient schedules and shift structures based on volunteers’ preferences to reduce drop-out rates, strengthen team cohesion, and ensure smooth handovers between groups.
Coordinated logistics for badges, wristbands, and other materials, as well as material flows between pre-badge claim locations and badge operations.
Provided ongoing guidance, feedback, and support to volunteer leads and their teams throughout the season.

GROUP LEAD AT SLUSH 2024
Anton Heinonen was a part of the Drivers team at Slush during the fall of 2024. They were responsible for:
Recruiting, training and leading a group of 10 Drivers volunteers
Overseeing the operations of their group, including scheduling shifts, coordinating ride assignments, and providing real-time support during the event
Acting as the main point of contact for their group, handling communications, and resolving issues under time pressure
Supporting the team by executing the overall plan, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring seamless collaboration within the Drivers Team
